Our Program
180 Ranch offers a faith-based 90 day program that teaches Christian fundamentals and Bible principles to chemically dependent cowboys and men with the heart of a cowboy.
The men, 4 at a time, live in and share a home with David and Gayla Jones. We offer a normal life setting on a 200 acre working ranch in South Texas. We often say it's like coming to live with your aunt and uncle. The men live our daily lives with us as we go to town, eat out, shop, work, visit family, and whatever else our schedules look like throughout the week. WE ARE NOT A NORMAL FACILITY.
COST OF PROGRAM
$2000 per month / $6000 total
The rehabs that currently offer less expensive services are asking for long time commitments that scare off those seeking help. The 180 Ranch offers a chance to make a change at a minimal cost within a reasonable time commitment.
Those who are unable to pay will never be turned away and will be sponsored through donor dollars if scholarships are currently available.
LENGTH OF STAY
90 Days
We believe that longer is better, but so many men are not accepting help because of the long time commitment of other affordable facilities. We hope to fill the gap between affordability and a manageable time commitment.
If after 90 days someone feels they are not ready to go home, they can choose to stay longer. We are here until they don't need us any longer.
NUMBER OF BEDS
4 BEDS
We house 4 men at a time. This small number keeps the program more client focused and creates a more one on one approach. We all live in the same house and two guys share a room.
We live on a working ranch with horses, livestock, and wild game, where these cowboys can feel at home and safe. They are distanced from the strain of an institution and are welcomed into the relaxed atmosphere of everyday life with David and Gayla.
We rely on the volunteer assistance of our Christian community, pastor and previously delivered cowboys to offer a well-rounded program of discipline, structure, Christian teaching, love, truth, and time for our clients and their families.
Family restoration and healing is vital. Families are encouraged to visit and attend church services with the men, then share a meal or spend the afternoon with them at the Ranch.
